Hydrovac Rental Questions, Answered

What documents are required to rent equipment?

You must provide a valid government-issued ID (driver's license) and a valid major credit card in the renter's name. For commercial accounts, we may request a certificate of insurance and business license.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. All rentals require a deposit which varies based on the equipment type and rental duration. The deposit is held on your credit card and released upon safe return of the equipment.

How does delivery work?

We offer flat-rate delivery zones across the Phoenix metro. We can deliver directly to your job site. Someone authorized must be present to sign for the delivery and complete a brief walk-around inspection.

What if the equipment breaks down on my job site?

Call our service line immediately. We will dispatch a mobile mechanic to your site, or if the unit cannot be fixed promptly, we will swap it out with a comparable machine so you experience minimal downtime.

How are rental periods calculated?

A 'Day' is 24 hours with a maximum of 8 hours of meter usage. A 'Week' is 7 days with a maximum of 40 hours of meter usage. A 'Month' is 4 weeks (28 days) with a maximum of 160 hours of meter usage.

Do you offer weekend delivery?

Standard delivery is Monday through Friday. Weekend delivery may be arranged in advance for an additional fee depending on driver availability.

Can I extend my rental once I have the equipment?

Yes, provided the equipment isn't reserved by another customer. Please call us at least 24 hours before your original rental period expires to extend.

What is your fuel policy?

All equipment is sent out with a full tank of fuel. You are responsible for returning it full. If it is returned less than full, a refueling charge will be applied.

Do I need my own insurance?

We offer an optional Damage Waiver for an additional fee. Otherwise, you must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming Arizona Commercial Equipment as the certificate holder and additional insured.

How far in advance should I book?

While we can often accommodate same-day or next-day requests, we recommend booking 3 to 5 days in advance to guarantee the specific model you need.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Established commercial accounts may be eligible for invoicing via ACH or check.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery or pickup time incur no penalty. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a one-day rental fee.

Do you provide operator training?

We provide familiarization with the controls and safety features at the time of delivery or pickup, but we do not provide formal operator certification training.

What happens if the equipment gets damaged?

The renter is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. If you purchased our Damage Waiver, certain accidental damages may be covered. Please review the rental agreement for specifics.
